Robinhood Chain · beta

Before you trade here.

Robinhood Chain is a separate network with its own ETH, its own dollar token and its own token contracts. These are the things that catch people in the first hour. Two minutes here saves a lost sale later.

← Back to check and swap

  • Why does my wallet show 0 ETH here when I have ETH elsewhere?Robinhood Chain is its own network (chain 4663). Ethereum mainnet, Base and Polygon are separate ledgers, and a balance on one of them does not exist on another. The swap card reads what your address holds on Robinhood Chain, so ETH on another network shows as zero until it is bridged over. Bridge through the Robinhood app or an Arbitrum-compatible bridge; deposits take a few minutes to arrive.
  • Why do I need ETH on Robinhood Chain even to sell?Every transaction on the chain pays gas in ETH held on the chain, an approval and a sell included. The amount is tiny, well under a cent at today's gas price, but a wallet with exactly zero ETH here cannot sign anything, whatever else it holds. Keep a small amount there.
  • I sold and nothing arrived. Where is it?Most tokens here are paired with USDG, the chain's dollar token, so a sell pays out in USDG rather than ETH. Wallets do not show a token until it is imported; use the “Show USDG in wallet” button after the sale, or import contract 0x5fc5360D0400a0Fd4f2af552ADD042D716F1d168 with 6 decimals. The recent activity list in the card links every swap to the explorer.
  • Why does a token I bought not show in my wallet app?Wallets do not detect tokens on Robinhood Chain on their own. The token is in your address, and the holdings list on the Portfolio page shows it. Use the “Wallet” button there, or “Show in wallet” right after a buy, and the wallet asks to add it. Or import the contract address manually.
  • Why is a token refused with “does not route this token yet”?Two kinds of Uniswap v4 pool are refused on purpose: pools with a custom hook contract attached, and pools paired with USDG. Our transaction shape cannot be verified against them yet, and we would rather refuse than risk your funds. The report still runs; the token can be traded on Uniswap's own app with the report open here.
  • Is there a limit per trade? While the swap is in beta, one trade moves at most 0.5 ETH, or the same value in USDG. Larger amounts can be split into several trades, or done on Uniswap directly.
  • What happens before I sign?Pewcake simulates the exact transaction against the current block, and again after any approval, and only then asks your wallet to sign. A swap that would fail is never sent. A swap can still fail on-chain if the pool moves more than your slippage allows between the quote and your block; then only the gas is spent.
  • Which wallets work?Any browser wallet that supports custom networks, such as MetaMask, Rabby, Coinbase Wallet or OKX. Phone wallets, including the Robinhood Wallet app, connect through WalletConnect by QR code. The site asks the wallet to add Robinhood Chain if it does not know it. Wallets with a fixed network list cannot be used here.

Heuristics, not audits. The report can miss things and a swap can still fail on-chain. Read the terms and the methodology.
